Bulla Gastrobar

Excellent food, cocktails and service. Great atmosphere for family, friends or date night. Try the pulpo and Moscow mule
The place is not bad, but beware of your checks, this has happened to me twice, last time last Thursday October 2nd, 2014. I did order 2 bottles of wine, one in happy hour one out of happy hour. I pay the first one on a separate check, and when I receive the second check for the second bottle, I see they have added another bottle, I complain and "supposedly" they void that check and get me a new one. Well, when I check online my bank account, they not only didn't void that check, they have charged me for the 3 of them and added a tip on their own to the one that was supposed to be void. Again, this is the SECOND time this happens to me in this place. Obviously now I have to take the time to go over and fight for the freaking check. Besides service takes for ever.
I can't express how much I love happy hour at Bulla. Sitting at their beautiful bar, sipping on a cerveza sangria with the breeze coming in from the street is about as relaxing as it gets. The drinks are all amazing, the tapas are great too, and 1/2 price drinks at happy hour in the Gables can't be beat. My husband and I stopped in on Sunday this weekend and had such a great time, that when we found ourselves in the Gables again on Monday evening, we went to Bulla again! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The best restaurant I've been to I'm Coral Gables. The atmosphere is friendly and lively. The tapas are fantastic. The skirt steak and the sheeps cheese are my favorite but the staff are great with recommendations.
I wanted to like the place a lot more. I saw a video online for it and I was looking forward to trying it out on my trip back to my hometown of Miami. It wasn't exactly bad it just didn't quite live up to my expectations. First off let me say that all of the food was very good. It very much reminded me of my time in Spain. The papatas bravas were great. The potatoes were crispy and had that nice spicy aoli on them. That being said from a value perspective I felt that the portion size could have been quite a bit bigger. Sadly the service was quite slow, and the pitcher of sangria wasn't that great. Not to mention that the rest of the meal wasn't that memorable. It was a good meal, but if this place is out of your way or there is a long wait, I would pass it up.
