So this place has bad reviews. I'm here to set the record straight by saying that in my personal opinion, the bad reviews couldn't be more far off. I'm not from Delaware but am a new employee to a company in Dover, and this review is based off of other dining experiences I've had working throughout the country. The waiters/waitresses and bartenders are fun/friendly and although may have a bad day every once in a while, as a customer, you'd never know it. They'll try their best to remember your name and if you're into hanging out at the bar, the bartender will make sure to try to keep you smiling and enjoying yourself the entire time. The food is by far is some of the best I've ever had. I personally recommend the Blackened Ahi Sandwich cooked medium with fries and their home made cocktail sauce. Their drinks, although a hair on the pricey side, are fantastic. The evening time seems to be the best time to go as there isn't much of a crowd. I plan on making this "my bar" and plan on being a regular. So take it from some random businessman that's eaten at establishments all through the country, if you want some of the best food this side of the United States, and you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out!!
Must be new owners. Last year it was great, this year we didn't eat anything and left. Over priced and the food was awful. I don't do fast food, but I'm sure it's better than this place. Keep driving past.
My first instinct (based on first impression from door greeter) was to leave immediately. However I decided to give them a chance despite that. Unfortunately, the quality of food and overall experience wasn't great either. Food constantly came out wrong and cold. Service was terrible as well. I should have gone with my first instinct. I will never eat here again!!!
Order the cream of cod! Awesome, better than New England clam chowder. Calm, quiet atmosphere. Our server was friendly and outgoing.
The best seafood in Delaware. The menu has every main course you can think of. Try the cream of crab. We had the Cod and seafood platter.
