Dunkin Donuts at 325 Woodstock Ave, Putnam, CT allows a veteran's group that is being investigated by CT and other states for fraudulent soliciting funds under the name of veterans. This organization based in FL has made millions from these soliciting activities. They have the necessary paperwork but it has come to attention of the attorney generals in may states that less than 2% goes to veteran needs. I have approached this store and others and Stop & Shop and they have since not allowed these groups to set up in front of their stores. I have email DD corporate headquarters and have not heard any response. I am contacting all veteran organizations in CT to boycott any Dunkin Donuts and stores where any veteran organization sets up a table with flags, etc and solicits funds. These people dressed up in all kinds of fatigues are PAID based on what the collect and the founder is a multi millionaire. No true veterans organizations solicits funds in this manner. The only veteran organization that you may see with a table set us is the VFW with their annual Poppy drive.
