This place can't be beat. Best bar scene in the North East and the food is amazing! Wednesdays they have all you can eat Clam Cakes and Chowder (all home made and delicious) and on Thursday they have $1 Tacos! Those are great deals, but the true glory is in their Thanksgiving Shepherds Pie!!!! It is a huge, ridiculously delicious portion of fresh carved turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and a side of cranberry sauce. Honestly my favorite comfort meal ANYWHERE, bar none! The Bartenders and Patrons are all phenomenal. If you dig great food in an awesome atmosphere you'll love The Lake Tavern.
Excellent food at a very fair price. The bartender and other patrons were very friendly. Definitely going back.
They had alligator!!! Great place for a quick bite to eat, just tell them though.
Best chilli nachos around. New owners are awesome.
