The Grubsteak Restaurant

Ate here today and I ordered a gluten free elk burger. Received my burger and the bun was so hard I couldn't bite it. I asked for a new bun and then realized my burger looked entirely different from my boyfriend who had the elk as well. Turns out she just gave me a regular burger. I was disappointed but mistakes can be made. It was the waitress's comment after the fact that "next time we need to say we want the elk." This really made me angry because I did specifically ask for the elk and it was her mistake NOT mine. I will never eat here again. Besides the awful service the food was not good either. Horrible.

Best tortilla chips I've ever had. Hamburger and green chile were fantastic too. Great service. Highly recommended.

Service is slow when it's not even busy. Food is decent nothing special about the burgers. Elk steak not worth $30 unless you've never had one. Building itself very old and run down making it drafty in mid October. Overall appearance could use help from Resteraunt rescue. But if you just want plane Jane bad food give it a shot.

Not bad food all around. A little weird layout as they walk you through what seems like an empty building to get you to a rear area which is the restaurant. We ate under a covered outdoor area. No atomsphere, just food. Elk burger was great BTW. Also have Yak which is interesting.

Good service and nice atmosphere. As a place that prides itself on the burgers the burger was just average.
