I loved the atmosphere here. The fact that the food was just as eye catching with just the icing on the cake. I don't know what compelled me to try their veggie burger, but I was rather pleased with the outcome. It melted in my mouth and made me wish for more. I would enjoy coming back here one day and trying something else this place has to offer.

Best meal we had in Estes Park. At first I was concerned because the hostess is not very hospitable, but we sat next to the musician and enjoyed great food (must try the Devils on Horseback appetizer), great service, and a great atmosphere. Will definitely go there again on our next visit.

This place needs a new manager. The food was really good. Our server, Rhett, was excellent. And then the manager, Tim, ruined it all. We enjoyed the fried pickles and bacon wrapped dates as appetizers, then ordered steaks. When the steaks (which had both been ordered medium rare) arrived, I cut into my very charred looking filet mignon, about an inch from the edge, to find barely any pink. My husband's steak was overcooked as well. Our server was super nice and took our plates back to have new steaks cooked. He apologized and offered a discount on the steaks. At that point we were very understanding, as mistakes happen. A few minutes later, the manager, Tim, came out to our table with my plate in hand. He had cut my filet in two to reveal a raw center. He said that he wanted us to see this because the steak was not overcooked. He said, "we already have new steaks on the grill for you, so you are going to get new ones, but they might be the same." Um, what? A steak in which the outer third is burned and the center is raw is not a medium rare steak. I inquired as to whether perhaps the grill was too hot if the steaks were burned on the outside and raw on the inside. All he said was they could just cook them rare instead. For $33, I expect to receive a properly cooked steak. And at a restaurant with those prices, I expect a manager with customer service skills. This whole conversation with him really put us off. It's unfortunate because it's a cute place and the food (including the re-made steak) was all very good, as were the servers. But none of that matters with poor management.

Great food. Good service. Not a fast meal. It is an experience.
