Went for dinner with my parents. The waitress that sat us was in an unpleasant mood it seemed, we are sorry for what ever was on her mind. But the waitress waiting us was very very polite and happy. The food is AMAZING. hands down the tastiest Italian I have had in a while. All homemade, according to the waitress. Over all we were pleased. :)
I have enjoyed Anna and Romeo's fine food since they opened about fifteen years ago. I have never been disappointed. Everyone there is friendly and competent. An enjoyable experience.
Worst try at Italian food that I have ever had. The service was awful. The staff was extremely rude and seemed to have better things to do than be at work. Its apparent that this place is in business to make make money and not put out decent food. Keep driving people, its not worth the headache!
I have been there yesterday for lunch with 5 more friends of mine and we have been very disappointed about the food and, especially, the service. Server (N9) was rude and unskilled. First of all, we asked if we can sit outside and she wasn't that happy about it. Second she dropped the plate of the french fries and she brought a second order still frozen. As soon as we started eating, she brought me the bill without, even, checking on us or asking us if we need anything else. We asked her if we can have coffee, she said they can't serve us coffee because the machine was turned off, i was really upset and i asked her to see the manager who was, finally, willing to make coffees for us. However, they charged us almost $12 for two double shot espresso. That was our experience in that restaurant. I will never go back there, and i don't encourage anyone to go there!
I have never been disappointed with the food at this place, although they do get crowded & slow on weekends, it is worth a try. Nothing like a full day in the Upper Kern playing outside to drum up an appetite. Open until 8-9pm, so you can grab some good food on your way back down the hill.
