This place is absolutely fantastic. Angela, the owner, is a masterful chef who is a genius at mixing American and Vietnamese flavors. Her Vietnamese dishes are outstanding, her Mexican food is amazing, and her American dishes are fantastic as well. Between the personalities of the people who work there and the outstanding cuisine, it is my absolute favorite place to eat in Lake Isabella. Have to haves = Vermicelli Bowl with pork, Beef Stew, Vietnamese Ham sub, Tacos, and Veggie Spring Rolls. If there's too much to decide from, just ask someone who works there for a suggestion, you'll be amazed at what they give you.

Great great fresh food made to order. The burgers, fries and shakes are good but I mostly come for the Vietnamese food such as my favorite, Pho. Daily specials have allowed me to try new things from the extensive menu. Food allergies are not a problem. I have a wheat allergy but it is easy to order the many rice noodle dishes or ask for a something special. Since all the food is made fresh and to order, it can you can have it just the way you want. WiFi is available with a food purchase so this is great place to get in some computer work. Besides being a great local restaurant, My Place helps our rural community by offering free meals several time a year. Wow, I love supporting a business like this!
I love the food here and the service is very friendly and warm. I also get to use the WiFi here and visit with the good people that work here. The people that own this restaurant are very honest and sincere and treat the customers with great love and respect. My friends ask me where I hang out and I tell them MY PLACE! They also serve food during the holidays for free and they do a great job of it. If anyone would ask me where is a good place to go and relax and have a good meal and the prices are very reasonable, I tell them MY PLACE right here where I live in Lake Isabella, California.
