Hunter Steakhouse

The fact is that used to be a good place and different from the rest of the chain restaurants but had some remodeling and new things or new owners (I am not sure) in the last few years and things have not been quite right since. If I ask for medium well, they bring the steak medium on the edges and by the center is already rare and blood all over. I started now ordering fish in these type of places because there is no restaurant in this city of Yuma where a cook gets the concept of rare, medium or well done or in between. The experience is like in any other restaurant and NOT for the prices they charge. If you want a steak, Texas road house will be as good; If you want to eat the same steak without the noise, pay few more dollar and come to this place. the noise is the only difference. One thing, there is NO one worthy restaurant in the city of Yuma, so you know and not get your hopes too high. Sorry, I lie, may be IHOP is the best only at breakfast

I feel very cheated. Worst steak I've ever paid for in my life. Apple bees will blow this place away. I hope this place goes out of business. I can't even explain how bad they screwed up my meal. I sent it back because I asked for my new York strip to be medium rare, and it was well burnt done. McDonald's employees probably know how to cook steaks better. They cooked another one for me, it was a disaster as well.

We went and were very pleased. Friendly staff, nice decor, good selection, fair market prices, fast service, and good food. I think the other reviews were unfair regarding availability of certain things or odd occurrences that could happen to any diner. Overall, this is a nice place for a local steakhouse and worthy of a thumb's up! The calamari appetizer was great, the salad was fresh, and our entree was hot and well prepared.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Having been a restaurant owner I know it takes very little effort to make a customer's dining experience a good one. The Hunter knows how to do this. Great service, nice presentation and the best Prime Rib I've had that I didn't prepare myself. No one I have referred to The Hunter has been disappointed.

Wasn't happy that the two items that I requested were unavailable. It's supposed to be a steak house, but want to push a salad... which I'm unable to eat lettuce, so a no go, in my opinion.
