Santiago's Restaurant
Reviews

I brought my sister and son there yesterday and I was truly disappointed. The margarita had about as much flavor as a non-existent lime. I asked the waiter what was in it and the house made mix is Minute Maid. The meat on the Carne Asada Plato was fabulous. The guacamole was fresh although lacking flavor. The pico de gallo was lacking spice and flavor. The young waiter was very nice and took care of us while we were there. I like the atmosphere there, although, I will not spend this much on food for sub standard food.

I've seen the same staff serving for all the years it's been open, probably 3 years now. That makes for great service. The food is above average. The bar is where I like to sit so I can people watch and interact. Live music last week was Acoustic Spanish Guitar and it was superb. Good thing our room was within walking distance!

This was the busiest place in town. Food is very good. Service is very good.

I absolutely LOVED this restaurant. My husband and I walked in around 9/930 pm and they were still serving food. The man who greeted us at the door was absolutely delightful! We were seated right away at an adorable table in the window. They also asked if we were military, and my husband is active duty Army, and they gave us a 10% discount on our meal, as well as informed us of how much they respect and love our troops. Our server was spunky and very attentive, the food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the quesadilla supremo and it was absolutely AMAZING. My husband had the tacos and he loved them as well. The food was an excellent price, the atmosphere was extremely friendly, and I could not have asked for a better staff. I don't know why there's negative reviews on here because we had a lovely time. Maybe they went to a different restaurant.

Not impressed. The salsa tasted like pizza sauce with peppers and the food was okay but not one bit authentic. The atmosphere was nice and we received good service. The menu was overpriced, especially for very American Mexican cuisine... It wasn't a bad experience but there are many more options for awesome Mexican dishes in the area.
