Loved being able to eat great food..fast!!! Great service. Thanks for dinner!
Pleasant but sometimes lacking all courses on menu during mean hours of the day.
Cracker Barrel is Cracker Barrel. Good food, usually with a wait. Can't help but love the ambience.
Service was horrible, main course was cold after waiting to eat it because it came with my soup after specific instructions to bring it first. No offer to make it right. I ended up with a $12 cup of soup and left them with my untouched meal. Clueless!!
My husband and I have enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel for many years. The food and service are always very good. But, tonight we had the pleasure of being served by a waiter that was exceptional. We had started our day out with plans to lay tile on our floors, but we had an electrical fire in our home followed by loosing our air conditioning. Trying to save money, we tried all day to figure out what was wrong and fix it ourselves. By the time we figured it out and drove from Heber Springs to Lowes in Conway to buy parts, it was 8 o'clock at night. We had not eaten all day and were hot and tired. We prayed we did not get a chatty waitress, we were too weary to talk. Our unlucky day changed and we were blessed in having Lance Simpson to be our waiter. He was polite, composed, professional and respectful. It felt as if we were being served by the top french waiter in a fine restaurant in France. He anticipated our every need before we ever had to ask for anything. It was so refreshing to see someone take pride in their job. I am 55 years old and have worked as a waitress when I was young and have gone on to run my own business. I have always tried to do the best possible job that I could, no matter what that job was. This young man was exactly the same way. He will go very far in life as long as he continues to treat his profession and the people around him the way he did us tonight. I wish to encourage his employers to give him a raise quickly. I was shocked to hear he had only been working there a week. Because of this gentleman, we left Cracker Barrel feeling relaxed and refreshed. And even though we were going back to our home with no air conditioning, it did not feel quite as daunting as it did before. For the first time ever in my life, I gave a $10 tip on a $20 ticket. And this young man deserved every bit of it. Thank you Cracker Barrel for hiring this young man and please pass our praises and best wishes on to this fine gentleman. Sincerely, Vicki & Don, two happy and satisfied customers
