The Green Coffee Bean Company

Reviews

When I arrived late in the afternoon asking for a cup of brewed coffee, the barista was embarrassed that she was running out. Instead, she made me an Americano -- for free! Renee was her name, and she was most pleasant as we chatted for a while about various coffees, roasts and blends. She obviously enjoys her work, and seems to be very good at it. I was very appreciative of such great service!

WARNING DO NOT BUY OR DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT EXIST AND WILL CLEAN OUT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!!!! THEY NOW HAVE £524.82 WHICH THEY WON'T REFUND.

Best coffee! Great staff! Heidi, Brittany and Steve make the best lattes! There is another girl who is hit or miss. Their roasted coffee is amazing. Harrar longberry is out of this world. They also have a peaberry that is delicious.

As an espresso lover, I'm fortunate to be in a real hotbed for quality coffee right now (Portland, OR). I've been involved in the local specialty coffee industry for several years now, and I think I have a good handle on what good espresso is. I visit Ketchikan once or twice per year, and unfortunately there is no good espresso in town. None. The Green Coffee Bean Company knows how to roast proper coffee, but nobody in town knows how to properly brew espresso or steam/stretch milk. Green Coffee Bean Company is a good roaster and the few times I've tasted their brewed coffee, it was good. It's better than any other local source, but I prefer espresso drinks, and the latte I had was undrinkable. Burnt and bitter espresso and scalded milk. Making milk-based espresso drinks takes practice and care, and nobody in town is even close to getting it. Roasted coffee=best in town Brewed coffee=good/very good Espresso at the shop=horrid Cafe staff=friendly but aloof
