New York Hotel & Cafe
Reviews

It's been six or seven years but, my wife and I spent a week here around the beginning of April. Our room was beautiful, right over the street and looked out on the small boat harbor. One thing that we loved was that the rooms of this little hotel were all second floor above a great little cafe that I can't remember the name of. Downtown was easy walking distance and the old red light district was literally fifty feet away. We didn't feel too touristy staying here and were made to feel very welcome. Also, the bus service in Ketchikan is excellent and cheap. If you're here for more than a couple of days the bus pass is a very good deal.

they discriminated for being handicap refused me service because I have a disability that requires a servise dog under the ada an acual servise dog not a companion dog a real servise dog before refusing me they required medical documents which is illegal to require not that I don't have them then they required a non returnable security depost on the dog when I told them they cant do that he said then I am gonna have to refuse servise to you I said so because I am disabled you are gonna refuse me servise he said yes as a small business I have the right to refuse business to any 1

It be a nice place but the traffic and the prices are ridiculously loud.
