The absolute WORST service EVER! William A. should not be a waiter with the attitude that he has. If you are going to judge people from their appearances you missed out on a HUGE tip. This was my first trip to Alaska and my sister wanted to show me around. We drove all day to get to Homer and got in later than expected. If the Harbor Grill does not like to serve people 1/2 hour before they close than they should let their patrons know that when they come in. Instead we received the rudest service. I have been in the food service industry for 25+ years and have work my way up from Hostess to Manager, doing every job in between. I normally tip 20-30% and sometimes even more; however, if it wasn't for the simple fact that 18% was automatically added, as we were a party of 6, William wouldn't have received anything from me. I had a lengthy review written but decided not to publish it. Instead I will just say that you better stop by your hotel first, put on some nice clothes and show up at least an hour before closing....then you MIGHT get better service. All I have to say is, I have NEVER been treated so poorly in a restaurant in my lifetime. And if it wasn't for the simple fact that I was with family that I don't see very often, I would have made a scene and talked with the management. It was absolutely horrible. Food was okay, not great, but the service was obscenely horrendous.

Very expensive and poor quality, unpleasant service. $29 for 1 piece of fried halibut that was not cooked all the way. Don't waste your time or money. Go to Boss Hogg for some great food and great service.

Food was excellent, Ryan provided fast, friendly service, and checked on us frequently. Fish (Halibut) and chips highly recommended.

Ok you don't go to Alaska for Mexican food, but this place still disappointed. The Halibut tacos were pure mush, perhaps the only place in Homer that can't cook the fish that draws thousands to the town.

Good view, poor food. Seafood sampler left much to be desired. Small serving with little taste. veggies means 3 pieces of broccoli and a sliver of carrot and squash. Did I mention bland? Chicken pasta was ok. Chicken was dry. Not acceptable for over $25 per meal. Service was ok. Living and dead flies on window.
