The service is alright, unless you get one specific waitress who has twice screwed us over on the bill. This first time she didn't want to figure out how to split the bill between 20 people, so she made us just pay all together. It was very inconvenient. The second time she over charged me by $7 and my girlfriend didn't notice and paid the bill. But when I asked her about the bill right after my girlfriend paid it, she wouldn't open the bill up again to see why we were charged so much. I had to put my foot down and then she reluctantly gave in and made a scene about giving us $5 back. I would not recommend this place, especially since Boston Pizza has better wings on the same night and friendlier service.
This is the loft area of a barn turned into a bar, which should clue you in that it looks a little different from most places. It's not high end - most of the time I go for the Friday steak sandwich, excellent value. The steak is somewhat variable in quality, usually good, sometimes excellent. There is only a small selection of beers. I visit here for a cheap night out in an interesting looking venue.
Food used to be tremendous for bar fare and the service was equally as good. Change in management and flighty servers has left something to be desired. Always come out with clothing smelling like a deep fryer.
I got a high ball and they gave me a glass full of Steve Jobs.
