My experience is based solely upon the service provided by Jamie, at Airdrie Mark's. My son was preparing, in a time pressured situation, to go work up near Fort Mac. We were not quite sure of all he would need, and we also had a budget that we had to stay within. Jamie was amazing!! She not only stayed beyond her allotted time to work, but was very gracious is helping us find what was needed and within budget...we only went over budget by a few cents :)! She is in my opinion, a 5 STAR employee, and if I was a business owner I would seek her out to come work for me!
I went to buy a pair of work boots today. I wandered up and down all the aisles of boots and there was no one to assist me. I picked out a pair of boots that looked to be what I wanted. Still no one to assist me. I started to look for an employee. Suddenly a large group of young men from Schlumberger came into the boots section, and mysteriously a employee from the foot wear appeared. He addressed the young fellows where to find footwear that Schlumberger had approved. He then assisted another customer that came looking for footwear. The employee then looked at me and said he was the only one working and I would have to wait. I was the first customer when no other customers were in the store looking at foot wear. If there was a Que I should have been first in line. Suddenly the employee had lots of quick sales and possibly commissions to make (that I don't know) and why would he serve me? So now why would I ever go to the Airdrie store again? Highly unlikely.
