Andaluz Bar & Tapas
Reviews
My wife and I have been here before several times and previously had very good experiences but last night spoilt the reputation of the place for me. Any wine list that has a bottle of Shiraz priced at $1,322 (Penfolds Grange '90) has to be looked at with suspicion in my view, but the fact that even the cheapest Shiraz was $155 (Fist of the Land Seppeltsfeld, Barossa) started to get my "rip off" alarm bells going, and I started to view the food with a similar eye. We had several tapas which were delicious, but tiny. The two "meat" dishes seemed to be mainly pieces of fried fat and paying almost $100 for a meal for two - without even a glass of wine, because it was so pricey - left a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be going back for a while.
The quintessential tapas experience in Perth. Expect a long line Friday nights but completely worth it. Great ambiance with special cocktails and great classics (amazing margaritas) with a decent selection of food.
Nice place, tasty food and drinks especially for a friday night after work but unfortunately as most places it occasionally suffers from typical pretentious Perth service...but i guess that's the city's inherent character
Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with this place. The staff forgot things that we had asked for 4 times, such as drinks, food and the bill which we had to go and ask for twice! The waitress was also very rude and pushy and had a serious attitude problem. All of our friends were disgusted with the service and we just couldn't get over just how bad it was.
what we have today all yumm^^
