MY FIRST TIME ! MY FRIENDS AND PATIENTS RECOMMENDED IT HIGHLY; FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT STAFF. MET THE BOSS JOHN - HE REALLY LOOKED AFTER US ! GREAT AMBIENCE - GOOD DECOR SOFT MUSIC - SOFT LIGHTING . THEY WERE SERVING MY FAVOURITES THAT NIGHT - SCHNITZELS !!! YUM!! COOKED TO PERFECTION - SO TENDER AND JUICY ! SHARED PLATES OF CHICKEN AND PORK ON PARMAGEDDON NIGHT WITH THE MISSUS . HAD THE LASHES BEER AND A BOTTLE OF WINE . FOOD WAS SENSATIONAL . THEN THERE WAS THE FREE SALAD BAR - GREAT VALUE !!! COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WHEN I FOUND OUT DESSERTS WAS THROWN IN AS WELL. I WILL CERTAINLY BE COMING BACK WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY! THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND IT .

We went to Market City Tavern for a meal with friends. It was comfortable, quiet enough to talk, included a good menu of meats with a good salad bar. It also included soft serve with cold deserts. So it was good value @ approx $33 pp. I am the wife of Don Cameron, Marianne, and I wanted to write a review too, but am tacking it on to his. I don't eat dessert, but loved the steak, and loved watching the chefs in action.

Service was impeccable, and food wasn't too bad, although it was admittedly expensive for "pub food" and I was disappointed by the salad/dessert bar. It's not terrible, but nothing to rave about either. I was a sucker for the ads on TV, which showed delicious ice cream toppings such as m&ms (or similar), but when I got there it was a much cheaper variety of canned fruits etc, nothing fun. I love my desserts, and while I don't mind putting fruits onto my ice cream, I also want chocolate chips, smarties/m&ms/skittles, that kind of thing, especially if that's what they're advertising!

I went to the Jack Caddys Bistro with my Husband and 2 children last Thursday night for their Parmagedden night, I had the Ozzy chicken parma and my husband had the beef parma. They size was great and it took only a few minutes for our order to come out. The meals are always good size, great taste and a good price. John the manager made us feel so welcome and the kids love the fun packs he gave them. Keep it up guys, we will be back again soon. would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in canning vale

First, and last, time there and what a shocker! Food was very average as the chicken was very dry and the chips were cold. I am not a fan of complimentary anything. I will buy a salad or desert if I want one. The clincher for the evening was the waitress cleared the table while I was still eating. Halfway through and she takes the plate away. Couldn't believe it! She wanted to pick out the napkins she put on the plate and give it back to me. Mentioned my experience to the staff who apologised but I wasn't convinced they really cared. Probably great for kids if you don't care about the quality or service.
