Booked a table yet watched several groups come, sit, eat and go before we got our food. Overpriced, average food. Not good enough.
I went to the Como last night happy and laughing with a friend. This barman Luke refused me service (I thought he was joking, I was yet to have a drink). He told me I was drunk and swaying and stared at me like he wanted a fight. I called over his manager and she dealt with the situation well we had our drinks and left. I have never been refused drinks before and I am not sure why it happened but it was an excelent way to ruin a celebration with a friend. Nice buzz killing Luke!
Food is really good. Service in the restraunt is good. Service in the bar, less so. The draft beer isnt great and The bar staff provide lots of attitude when serving you your flat headless pint, that is if they can hear you over the doof doof.

My partner and I booked the Como for our company, West Coast Promo Babes, Staff Christmas Party 2010. We order a variety of food platters which were all beautifully presented, generous in size and very tasty. We chose to occupy the back of the pub where we didn't have a formal sit down dinner table arrangement. This encouraged everyone to socialize, mingle and dance much more resulting in a wonderful time had by all and was only topped by our Boat Party on the Swan River the year before. Apart from the service being just a little slow it wasn't so bad as to impact on evening in a negative way. I recommend for a casual fun night out or company function / party.
