Pie In the Sky
Reviews
Two years ago these pies were unbeatable. Fresh, quality ingredients. Gourmet through and through. You'd drive out of your way to visit this place. But, sadly, as of March 2015, those days are gone. Now, the level of food is about the same as the black and gold generic pies you'd buy on special at Coles. The chips are the same. The drinks are the same. And yes, even the service, delivered at the hands of 15 year old waiters/waitresses, is the same. Only the prices, which used to be reasonable given the quality you'd get, have stayed the same. Despite the complete lack of value for money now being offered. We used to eat here, and spend around $50 buying up a range of pies to take home and eat. Now, the one pie you eat there is enough to scare you off pies for months. Very very disappointing.
Very disappointed with the pie as old customer. Not quite sure it had new owner or not, pie doesn't have chunk beef just mashed mince. Same price but much less quality. Won't return anymore and won't recommend anyone to come.
Not the best experience. We were told to sit in the waiting area and watched others just come in and sit at empty tables due to their poor organisation. No nappy change facilities. A waitress helpfully pushed 2 chairs together for us, but then the older looking waiter came over and told us we weren't allowed to change nappies here, whilst we were changing him. Then repeated it multiple times. Stupid. Food is average, don't know who has been giving them medals for these pies which are no better than any others I've ever had. Waitresses are nice though
Immature, argumentative staff who are completely uncaring and disconnected with the customer experience. Ruined a great day out! Gave them three chances now. WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK!
Pretty average pies, Mrs Macs from a servo are better than this! Atmosphere was nice, although the wait for the drinks/pies was a bit long
