Terrible Experience. Didn't have any cash so we asked to pay by card and the waiter said sure. She then pointed us around the corner to an area with tables and an unattended bar (and didn't say anything else) so we assumed she wanted us to sit in there and we would pay when we finished our meals. Waited for almost an hour with no food or coffee as it was busy and went back to the front counter where the server said we had to pay at the bar and then our order would be processed. Then when our meals finally came out the waiter practically dropped the plates on our table then walked off without saying anything.
Very nice coffee, and enjoyable seating outside on the main intersection of town. The Tradie's Breakfast is their signature, and if it doesn't full you up, nothing will. I love sitting here during GP week watch all the traffic come into town, and the location is perfect for it I hope you like birds though as the gulls see themselves as the equivalent of annoying locals, waiting for the chance to grab a snack. Don't feed the buggers though, they don't need encouragement
Went to stop for a coffee, looked like a nice busy place - stood at the till to order and ignored by staff until another person came up, obviously known to management who was immediately attended to while I continued to stand there..... I HATE that -we left immediately. Next time we'll just go to Madcowes as normal.
Very disappointed. As others have stated, looked promising but food was average and they wanted to charge $2 for a glass of hot water!
