Been coming here for years. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, fantastic food.
I was impressed with this place. Soups were good. Meat was cooked well. Vegetables were beautifully done, very moist and full of flavor. Salad was good which so many places get wrong amazingly. Drinks weren't over priced either and staff were friendly. I'd recommend this place any day.
Returning after a long absence we were disapointed to say the least, the vaunted huge salad bar was typical pub lunch style, quite a few flies buzzing it, as they were our food, we could only eat one handed. We had pork, one of the more expensive offerings . Whilst the pork was cooked through, it lacked any taste, the bland cream sauce doing nothing to relieve the taste The wedges, well they looked like they had been cooked up at least 3 times. A very disapointing meal. the wine list by the glass in one of the best wine regions in the world was very poor. Pub meals have become so much better over the years but not tonight in the Alma.
Great pub in busy Willunga. The food is really good. (Best schnitys around) and the staff are really friendly. The outside area is great and even has a pool table. The beer's nice and cold too. ;) I definately recommend this pub.
Classic Aussie pub fare with great service and good people. The beer garden on a warm lazy Sunday afternoon is sensational. Try the Chorizo Penne and the Pork Rib Eye.
