Read the glowing reviews online, decided to give it a go. Got a steak I ordered medium rare - came out cooked more than that, quite chewy. Also didn't get given a steak knife, which didn't help. The brisket and relish that came with it was very nice though. My partner got the pork belly which was basically all fat. I understand that pork belly is quite a fatty meal, but to look at this was quite... unsettling. The pate was very good though. Service was quite good, very friendly. But at those prices, you'd want the food to be spectacular, which it wasn't for us unfortunately.
I had a great lunch, good service. We are coming down for a couple of nights in May.
My wife and I got married here, fantastic venue.

Brilliant menu and really good service! A friend suggested we stop at Red Poles for lunch while in Mclaren Vale. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
