Ginza Japanese Restaurant

Limited time for slow cook BBQ There is a 120 mins time limit, but the BBQ takes long time to cook as the fire is very small. and they won't even give you 120 min before they ask you to leave. also food came out very slow . you won't even feel full when the time is up, for $30 and $40 per head. better value elsewhere。 We won't go there again
Booked it for 7:00 got there at 7, told us we had to wait for 30 mins because they don't do 7:00 reservations?? But i think the people were seating at our table and they haven't finished that's probably why we couldn't get a table, the bbq place was like a sauna, needs more ventilation and very smoky, food and service is great though, very fast, we ordered every 5 or 10 mins, ate a lot of bbq and very tasty, good dining experience, the waiting and ventilation let me down though but good restaurant overall. Would come back again.
I am surprised this place has managed to get the ratings it got. The food is mediocre at best and the service terrible. It looked good when we first got in but it became less and less attractive as we progressed through dinner. They never re-filled water until we asked for it. They never got the sake we ordered, did not care to give an explanation why. We ordered roast salmon roll, ginza special roll for sushi; shrimp and veg tempura and teriyaki salmon for mains. I had high expectations for sushi and they were terribly disappointing. The ginza special roll was nothing special and the roast salmon roll was too salty. I am still searching for a decent sushi place in Adelaide. The tempura and teriyaki salmon were just ok. The lettuce accompanying the salmon was wilting. I went there on a weekday and it was not busy at all. Inspite of that, we got bad service. The waiters all seemed very young and inexperienced. The prices do not justify the food or the service!
Terrible service and dissappointing food. It looks like an upmarket lovely restaurant but its v disappointing. The whole experience - the waiters did not bring out any menu's - had to ask. We were a large group - 12 people - not once did they come to clear out the table as the shared main were finished. Even the menu's were not taken away from the table. Not once did anyone come to ask if we needed anything. We had to ask them again and again for basics - soy sauce, clean plates, pl remove menu, pl give water. The miso soup came aout after 4 mains had been served. Just terrible service. The taste of the food was very average - there was no flavour in the food at all. Very disappointing and will never go back again.
High-class Japanese cuisine, in clean, modern surroundings! A beautiful variety of dishes, including buffet specials, that are well-presented and taste delightful. TEMPURA PRAWNS ARE SERVED ON A BRIDGE. A little pricey for casual dining, but a great spot for special occasions.
