Thanks Tony and The Summit team for the best coffee in Adelaide!! I'm never disappointed. Huge cafe menu and great drink list also. Best views. A real indulgence after a hard cycle up to Mt Lofty every week. A true feast for the senses.
I agree with other reviews here, the prices are too high and the service isnt there, We asked for an additional plate and cutlery and the guy said he'd get them but instead went back and chatted with the other guy and completely forgot about us, will make sure to bring my own lunch next time I go.
In early January, 4 adults enjoyed a wonderful dinner. For entree, we had a special tasting plate. For mains, three of us had 'pancetta-wrapped chicken tenderloins' and the fourth guest had a 'beef fillet steak'. All main meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I recommend the restaurant to anyone who wishes to have a superb dining experience coupled with amazing views.

Mount Lofty Summit is amazing. Love it. I keep hauling my tripod up there and trying different shots. The cafe however has that typical dingy Australian RSL pub feel. Serve yourself. Food is average. Service is completely lacking in enthusiasm and care. It has no vibe/ambience to speak of and has utterly failed to embrace both it's scenic environment and the expectations of tourists. Utterly pathetic, lazy cafeteria.
