A nice place, with a promising menu. However we went tonight at 6.15 for dinner with our young daughter. (21 months) We ordered after 5 or 10 minutes and then waited for an hour - when my daughters meal arrived. It was a pretty good kids meal, very tasty and fairly healthy. However my wife's steak arrived 20 minutes later and when she was almost finished the waitress came out to tell us my kangaroo had been given to the wrong table. They were preparing another. I told them not to bother as we needed to leave soon anyway as it was late for our daughter. As my wife was finishing her meal the waitress came and said the meal is almost ready now anyway - we have refunded the cost and you can have it on the house. 15 minutes later still it arrived. My daughter had finished her food 45 minutes previously and was ready for home. All up the three meals came out over the space of an hour. Admittedly they were pretty busy (not full) but a table of three getting their meals an hour apart is ridiculous. Unfortunately the kangaroo was not worth waiting for. Both it and my wife's steak were pretty average. Nice place, but terrible service and poor food. We won't be back.
We had wedding reception here and I can not speak more highly of the staff and the food. The staff catered to our every whim; no request was to small. The food was amazing, we had a fantastic choice of options for our menu. Everything was simply perfect and made our day so special. 💕
Soggy snitzell and pink meat inside. Poor considering there was only 10 people there. Who can't cook a snitzell?
Service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered my schnitzel and a coffee but requested the hot drink come out ASAP. I enquired about it after 15 mins and it finally arrived 30 mins after I ordered. Schnitzel was adequate but I've had much better for the price. I'll be heading to the Torrens Arms next time.
Fantastic setting and family atmosphere
