Dont know why this place is so popular. Overpriced, below average food for people who wouldnt know a tasty meal if they tripped over one. Service was vile. Food was thrown down on the table. Decor is old. Floor is slippery and wet from the live fish tanks, and the place smelt like dirty aquarium. Heres why its so bad: The place was overrun with Lebanese 'bros' being loud and obnoxious as usual. The restaurant must have a 'why bother' attitude. Definately a place to avoid.
One of the best places in Chinatown for seafood and late night dinners. The food is always fresh and you can pick your own live seafood from the tanks or let the staff bring it to your table before it gets handed over to the kitchen. The service is what you'd get in most Chinese restaurants, so don't expect too much and you'll be a happy camper.
Poor service from a sullen waitress, the decor is dated, the place is dirty and the sign in the toilets saying "do not vomit in urinal basins" did not augur well. We ordered 2 dishes, one was good but the other one was awful (we just ate the vegetables that came with it). We ordered tea which they did not bring but still charged us for. And we paid $65...quite expensive. We were extremely disappointed and will not go back.
Sucks to be them. I'd say you want to avoid that slippery obnoxious place at all cost.
I had peking duck when I visited. It was ok. Nothing to rave about which was a shame because I'd heard that this place was one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. A bit overpriced.
