Went here because they were serving British beers during the Sydney beer festival. Good beers on tap - much more expensive than you would pay in the UK of course. We shared the lamb roast - really excellent; loved it. Went on a Tuesday evening, nice and quiet and service and quick and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Only came here for drinks and it was 2 but I gotta say; this was a surprise. The Duck Inn is surprisingly modern and clean looking being a total surprise when you enter its theshold. And then you walk round the back and this really nice outdoor area with nice seats and bamboo. Totally surprising. Heard the food is great too.
We returned to the Duck Inn tonight after a break of about 6 months, because in the past, the portion sizes had just been getting too small…. Well, we certainly all enjoyed our meals tonight! Simple fish & chips, also a lentil pie but fresh, beautifully prepared / presented and very tasty. Good, big (pub size) portions too! The lime cheesecake for desert was as delightful in taste as in it's arty presentation. Thank you, we'll be back soon!
The way pub food should be. An excellent informal dining experience with top notch food. Don't be put off by the higher than average prices, this is not a deep fried schnitzel and chips. They serve sophisticated gastropub fare. 5 stars.
