Dined here last night (12/11/14) and was seated at approx 6:15pm. We did not order until 6:45pm as we were waiting for a third person to arrive. Everything until that point was fine and the waitress assigned to our section was very pleasant and friendly. Until a drink order was missed. That in and of itself is not a problem, but when it gets missed a further five times, then there is a problem. In our assigned waitress's defence, she was effectively left on her own to take orders from two large groups, plus a few other tables, whilst all other staff focussed everywhere else. Including the girl who told us we'd have to wait for "our" waitress when we queried (for the fourth time) where my drink was. I asked one guy (who eventually resolved the problem by bringing me two drinks) twice, another girl twice, the manager and also "our" waitress. To my mind, getting a glass of Pepsi shouldn't be exceedingly difficult. Especially when you've managed to fulfil the order of a glass of water and a beer. And especially when both times those drinks orders were placed, my drink was again enquired about. So, to the manager and the ginger haired girl: your service is poor to say the least. To the girl who initially served us and to the guy who eventually got me my drink by taking personal responsibility: thank you. But I really hope I never have that experience again.

Really nice place! Food is quite nice depending upon what you order, portions are quite large. Had the Pork Knuckle, was quite a large serving! The beer selection is quite large also! Make sure you validate your parking ticket here for casual parking rates! Waiters are very friendly and the decor/atmosphere is really nice and clean. Would defiantly come back. Plenty of parking located in the paid Wilson parking lot.

I came to this place with some friends to attend a special event. It was a great venue - lots of seats and had an upstairs with a balcony. Beer was really nice and food was yummy. And there was even place to have a DJ and dance floor. Fun night had by all!

This is one of our favourite restaurants to go to before we go to watch a game at the SFS or SCG. I normally go for a basic dish like Schnitzel and it delicious. The last time my husband and I went we ordered one of the tasting platters so we could try a few different things. For me I found it to be a lot of meat and so I would probably order a side dish to go with it if we ordered it again. The warm pretzel with butter is a great starter and if you are with a group the 1 metre board of schnapps is good for everyone to taste a few different ones.

This is an OK restaurant, where you could order some nice meat dishes and have a decent beer- but it is nothing too special! We went with another couple and two prams and being almost the first customers in the restaurant we had to ask the staff to seat us in a different place twice as the prams did not fit in! I think they need to be a bit more considerate especially during lunch times, as the majority of customers there will be families. The food was good, but it just wasn't the same as their restaurants in York St or Manly.
