Sittano's Bar & Restaurant
Reviews
We dined at Sttano's Penrith just this evening. It was a Saturday so it was extremely busy and our first thought looking at the crowds inside and out, was that this could be slow service. We couldn't have been more mistaken. We had booked for and arrived at 7pm and by a few minutes past 7 we already had drinks, at 7:10 we had our entree and by 7:20 we had our main meals! All the staff were very friendly and service was excellent! Perhaps the prices were a little high, but it didn't worry us as we had been given a gift voucher. The food was relatively good quality - not the best I've had, but cooked well and good flavours. The only negative comments would be the crowds and noise. If you're after a quiet evening, this is not the place to be on a Saturday night. For this reason it would not be my choice of restaurant if it were not for the gift voucher we received.
Food has gone down hill the last few weeks was good a few months ago but they do excellent coffees
We have just dined at Sittano's, (a little concerned after reading some of these reviews but our daughter recommended them so we thought we'd try) and our concerns were unfounded. Yes the food is a little on the expensive side but the service was excellent and timely. The food was well presented and tasty. The staff members were very attentive & most certainly not rude.
A terrible and overpriced place with rude staff and very average food. I went with a good of five adults and three infants. We had a reservation. We were ten minutes late and we were chastised by the waiter. We ordered our meals at 745pm and did not get them meals until 910pm. When we raised the issue of the wait for meals, the waitress wanted to argue the point with us and basically told us we were wrong. Costs: Meals were overpriced - a jug of Coke cost $15! Yes, $15! Food: The food was average. My pasta dish was overly oily. Recommendation: Avoid. Like most Penrith restaurants, Sittano's is too pricey - too pushy and takes its customers for granted way too much.
Location is meh, but good if you either want to dine in or dine outside. Food is ok, decently priced and quaility of the food is ok. Haven't really had any issues. Staff have always been friendly and very helpful and polite. Restaurant is wheelchair accessible with washroom facilities located within the shopping centre.
