Outback Steakhouse
Reviews
The ambience Inside is deceptively nice. Decor is actually very nice too. The service was slow, but was very friendly... So that made up for it. The menu is very diverse, however prices are very high. I would not have expected to pay over $30 for a main, especially in Penrith.
very slow service. waited 20 min to get a table although half the restaurant was empty. friendly staff. food quality good but quantity compared to price very low. my first and last time.
The whole experience was awesome! There was a quick seating time, a lot of great food, unlimited drinks and all delivered by a charismatic waiter who was prompt and professional the whole evening. I used to be a regular at "Outback Jacks". After a few failed meals I was in need of a great steakhouse to substitute my ribs needs. I have finally found the place!
Sorry to say that whilst we have eaten many times before last night's dinner was a disaster. The service was poor, everything was slow, My son's $45 steak for his birthday was half cooked and half raw (this was refunded) and my other son and his girlfriend are now throwing up continuously as a result of tainted chicken. My meal of mixed ribs was overcooked bland and tasteless. Something has clearly happened to the quality of the place from 6 months ago when I was last there. I do not recommend this place to eat at, now or ever. We will never go again.
We went there on a family plan. The Blooming Onion is a must! The waiters were nice and friendly but we had to wait a while to get our food. The Mixed Platter was out of this world and they have a great variety of beers to enjoy. We went there with our 6 year-old nephew and the crew really took care of him, bringing things to play with and crayons to keep him entertained while we were finishing. We will absolutely come back!
