Do not use these guys, most dishonest business I have ever come across! Delivered a faulty lounge, fabric was ripped, timber legs were cracked and the 2 arms of the lounge were different shapes. After several weeks of complaining, sending photos even a visit from the service manager to inspect the lounge they finally agreed to take it away for repairs. When the lounge come back from repairs, there were dirty marks on the lounge, the legs were still cracked and the faulty arm had been fixed but was now a different shape to the other arm. I requested a full refund immediately after the second faulty lounge was delivered, however Prouds will not provide one. They have offered to repair the lounge again, however due to their track record I'm not prepared to go through another round of repair works. Every time you call the service manager is away or on their day off, the boss doesn’t exist. I think their strategy is to make things as hard as possible in the hope that you will give up and let it go. As per the other review, I too have gone to Consumer Affairs as a last ditch effort to get a refund. Very disappointing, I wish I had read the reviews before doing business with these guys.
Do not use these guys. We are currently chasing a refund through Consumer Affairs. They delivered a faulty couch and won't even return our calls. The salesman and owner Ross is always out, apparently - after the shop assistants ask who is calling, of course. We chased them for 5 weeks and have finally in desperation had to take it up with consumer affairs. Shame furniture.
I put the three lounges I wanted together and they made it. Four years ago and still good.
