Maybe a little disorganised and the spaghetti noodle as stirrer was eye raising (if I come back and its still in practice I'll be annoyed), the grande French roast was fine. The hum of the refrigerator is out of place in the echoing acoustics of a decent color fully painted concrete decor and the staff hadn't put on any tunes (no judgement, just a fact.) They serve wheatgrass (which simply must be a first in Laramie) though the rest of the menu appears conventional and fairly un-paleofiable. The location is nicely lower class, north of downtown, across the street from a bland brick monolith and catty-corner to a cheap weekly-rate motel. I'll come again on a weekday to see if maybe it deserves one more or less star.

The best Chai Tea in Laramie.

I spent about an hour in Grounds with a group of friends yesterday. The customer service we received was excellent. We had lots of questions about the type of yogurt they serve with their yogurt parfait, if we could split it between two people, etc. and the woman helping us could not have been more accomodating. The yogurt parfait and loose leaf tea were both wonderful. A great place to get some work done, have a visit with friends or just relax on your own. I highly recommend it.

The Grounds is under new management/owner. I went in when they first re-opened, everthing was fine. Today, however, I had the worst sevice I have ever had in an establishment. The man behind the counter took my order, took my money then proceeded to serve the next person in line (his friend). I had to wait for my small coffee and brownie while he made his friend's latte, then I had to remind him twice as to what I had ordered. I should have asked for my money back and walked out. To top it off, the coffee was terrible, had very little flavor.
