Utterly amazing! The Maglio steak I had was one of the tastiest steaks I have ever had. My wife's pasta dish was divine. The service was excellent. Tried their pizza carryout the next day and it was the best pizza in the area as wel! Don't be fooled by its sub-par location, this place is a class act!

This is our local "go to" place. I have a few favorite dishes (pasta bolognese, chicken piccata,sicilian steak, specialty pizzas) but most sound really good. It is always hard to decide if I want to try something new because I do not want to pass up one of my favorites. This is at least a weekly experience since they have opened and we never get tired of the food. When we are too lazy to go out we get carry out and it is just as good. I have my 12 coupons so my next pizza is free Carm! If you have not been there you are cheating yourself…………...

I have been there twice now and each time was great! The pasta is very good and the pizza is amazing! You have to try the cheesy garlic bread. Best Italian restaurant around. Cant wait to go back.

We have been to Messina several times in the past few years, and always are greeted pleasantly, and enjoy the charming handpainted murals on the walls. It is the wonderful food and service bring us back every time. There's quaint Italian music, or a mix of Jazz and Sinatra piped into the lounge. Whether we have steak, pasta or seafood, we are always impressed. A favorite is their marsala. Salads are crisp, fresh pepper is applied tableside. Entrees are beautifully presented, and breads are wonderful, served warm with butter. My favorite is the desserts - I never leave without having tiramisu, and Messina's is wonderful... Even on Saturday nights, without a reservation in a snowstorm, or in July at the height of the dinner hour on a weekend this place shines - in every way. Food, Service, and Atmosphere. There is an exceptional wine list which we occasionally enjoy, too. I love this place and have always hesitated putting out such a wonderful review, because I don't want to find the place so busy as to not be able to give me the great service that we have always enjoyed! (Did I mention the coffee? Also rich and wonderful.) Enjoy it. Messina is fantastic!

Fantastic!! The BEST Eggplant anywhere, dusted, not overloaded with breading. Great service,nice atmosphere for dining and every part of the meal was first rate. Hot bread that didn't come out of the microwave!! Shrimp Scampi was excellent with huge shrimp.
