On vacation from Phoenix, I had to stop in and see the bar. Great food and amazing view of the lake. I would recommend stopping if you are traveling on 90. Only a few minutes down the road off the exit. Live music, Tiki bar for boaters, Sand Volleyball, Pool, darts, and horseshoes... but don't take my word for it, stop in and see for yourselves that this is the spot to be on Lake Wisconsin.
We have had food and drinks at The Thirsty Moose many times over the last six months. This is by far the best bar on Lake Wisconsin. They have consistently great food and friendly service. Never the "private club" attitude or lazy service like some nearby places. The groups we have brought in have enjoyed the food and atmosphere whether we were with friends or our kids.
Great food. Awesome service. Cleanest bar and resturant on the lake. A new family who cares running the place. I think its a great new addition to Lake WI. Come down and see for yourself. The best part of all is the service you will recieve. Live music, pool tables, darts,sand volleyball, 4 horse shoe pits, tiki bar outside in the sand. Beautiful veiw of the lake ad well........ can go on....
Had a great brisket sandwich with bacon and BBQ and some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever eaten. Hubby loved his pork tenderloin slider and white poblano chili. Really good menu for a bar and grill type place, and nice selection of regional Wisconsin beers. Nice spot on Lake Wisconsin. There's a cute 'tiki bar' for boaters coming in off the lake. Really good mango Rum Runner :-)
I thought this place was great!! We recently moved into the area and we went to Thirsty Moose with some friends and were treated great. It doesn't seem to be as clicky as Lakeside. I enjoy both places but more people need to check out Thirsty Moose and what it has to offer.
