Best Western Plus Trail Lodge Hotel & Suites

Three times when attempting to make a corporate reservation, I've spoken to Hannah and Jessica (two times) who have been abysmal when it comes to making a business traveler feel at ease when making a reservation. I have visited this hotel in Eau Claire, WI twice in the month of October 2014 and after giving my name and my company's name, I was asked tonight by Hannah; "Have you stayed with us before?" After I responded that I stayed with them in October, I again get the question; "What is your last name again?". I mean really... I simply want to make a reservation at a hotel that my company has a rate with and that we use frequently enough for my experience to make a reservation not to be so painful. The call with Jessica in October through Best Western's 800 number ended up with Jessica disconnecting my call. But we were going through the same exercise that I previously described I've went through with Hannah tonight, but after 5 minutes of that mind numbing experience, Jessica disconnected our call. I'm sure it was by accident but why does it have to be such a chore to make a reservation with the Best Western Eau Claire front desk personnel? Maybe a little more training might help... Great service. I enjoy taking my business meetings there.
Over the top internet restrictions. I was denied access to Daily Motion and Bro Bible due to them being "video sharing websites" and had "bikinis/lingerie". I would expect those restrictions for a middle school, not an adult guest at a hotel.
Nice staff at the reception Clean room Acceptable breakfast
Old facility, room was musty smelling and there was black mold under the wallpaper that was peeling off the walls. The ac units hadn't been cleaned in years and smelled like it. Breakfast was garbage and the pool.was a gas chamber. One of the desk attendants was about as friendly as a badger. Halfway decent fitness center, but smelled like the pool area.
