Pretty good I was surprised and impressed at the food of this little unassuming restaurant. Definitely will come back again. Happy it is in the neighborhood.
My family has been going to Imperial Palace since before I was born, and we will certainly continue going there for a lot longer. The food is delicious, and I proudly bring my friends there. It's a smaller establishment, which is very nice, and my only problem is that I always have a bit of an issue getting chopsticks. Not because they don't have any, but because it's difficult flagging down the waitresses.
Crab puffs packed full of cream cheese and crab, large portions, Pepsi products, clean, been in business decades with customer loyalty....mine.
Good food! Lunch specials are great! The service is ok but they don't check on you enough. Once they get to know you they get better.
We have lived in the neighborhood for over 4 years and Imperial Palace by far provides the best Chinese food in the area. We usually place orders for pickup over the phone and eat at home, but the restaurant has a warm happy feel when dining inside, the decor is a bit dated. Try the House Rice called IP Rice it has all kinds of goodness mixed into it. yumm. Great Kung Pao and Cashew Chicken the Crab puffs are also very nice. You can't go wrong, order anything on the menu it will be great.
