Remington's Restaurant & Lounge

Not very good service. Food was very mediocre. Clam chowder tasted like peanut butter
Very pleased with excellent service and ambience on New Years Night. Chef's special of Japanese Surf n Turf was tasty with flavors of definite pleasure and interest yielding strong satisfaction -- tempura battered asparagus and other veges wrapped in sirloin steak seasoned in just right Dijon-soy sauce was the feature. Compliments also on the included prawns and mixed rice side dish. I added a spinach salad which was quite delightfully garnished with cranberries, gently candied walnuts/pecans and a richly flavorful vinegarette dressing. Would love to dine there again should I return to Spokane. The dining entrees all included a generous fresh sour dough loaf and herb butter or other similar alternative. Simply too pleasantly satiated to finish the bread -- but was a nice touch, nonetheless.
In all my travels round the world, food in your standard chain hotels is one thing: boring, overpriced, and unhealthy. Combine this with a a rural airport setting and you expect nothing more than another burger for dinner. Enter Remington's restaurant at the Spokane Ramada to save the day! While you'll find the standard American fare in the the cafe area and pub, venture into the full service dining room to be utterly shocked and amazed! The ambiance needs an upgrade however the chef's specials are the gems here. Baby spinach salad with warm bacon balsamic vinaigrette dressing, chicken with roasted red peppers on a bed of wild rice, jambalaya alfredo, with flavors blended and distinct to name just a few. The chef does a fantastic job and will be more than happy to appease customizations on your orders. If you're ever in Spokane and have a few hours before your flight, stop in to try this diamond in the rough.
