A friend and I came here for dinner and the experience was nice. I can't say it was the best because of the sometimes loud and obnoxious people at the restaurant beside us but the food was divine. The Beef Empanadas, Fried Calamari and Sweet Plantains was delicious and the server we had was polite, quick, but not rushing. Overall, a good experience.
Love going to this place for date nights. There is some outdoor seating but the inside looks like a villa. Of course they have a great selection of tapas. Among the best are the Croqueta de Jamon, Lechon Asada, and Gambillas al Ajillo. Pair it with a mojito or a simple Caipirinha. Their claim is that they are the only authentic Cuban/Spanish restaurant in Virginia. Come to think of it, I think they are right.
My wife and I loved lunch and dinner here. Unfortunately we're out of state now but it was a must have spot for us when we lived in the area. The food is very well prepared and nicely presented as well. It is classic Cuban cuisine and the chefs are always on their game here. It does get crowded so be sure to call ahead on the weekends. Drink your spirits and order tapas after tapas before your main course and you will be in Cuban cuisine heaven.

Always awesome. The food is incredible. Highly recommend the La Pina mojioto. Very reasonably priced. Lots of wonderful Cuban flavor.
