Mc Mahon's Irish Pub & Restaurant
Reviews
Found this little treasure quite by accident while driving through Warrenton. Upon entering the restaurant, it was a nice treat to see and hear an authentic Irish band playing, but not to the point where it was loud and unable to hold a conversation with the person sitting next to you, or across the table. Fish and chips was excellent. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Personally, I am not a big fan of "checking in" services like 4Square, but for a free Dessert I would recommend checking in via yelp, 4 Square, FB, etc...
Friendly staff, great service
One of my favorite places in Warrenton. The food is always good. I really like that they made the large bar where the fireplace is non-smoking. I love the Brie appetizer and the prime rib special when they have it is great. Their Beer selection is good and I love the live music that they have. The best part is the owner Emmit is always cordial and makes the experience great. Treat yourself to this place and you wont be dissappointed!
Unique and interesting menu, doesn't just seem like a typical Irish pub! Great decor and atmosphere, the pics definitely say a lot! Finally, a super friendly staff and management! Good patio seating as well. We stopped here after visiting some wineries in the area and know we will be back if we are in the area again!
My wife suggested we try it and I was hesitant. Parking lot needs work, old building, entrance was a little musty, Was seated in the dining room and a great Irish band was playing! Traditional I rish violins and a flute. OK, the music is nice, but I'm hungry! Started off with a martini for me, and a margarita for the mrs. They rimmed her glass with sugar! Hey, I told her it's an irish pub, you should order beer! didn't matter the drink was tasty and strong as was my "Flirtini". We split a hamburger and fries. I/2 pd of beef and a plate of fries, I was stuffed. But then our waitress, just in from Ireland visiting her cousin, suggested the Irish bread & butter pudding. OMG. delicious!. The atmosphere was great, music wonderful, food filling and tasty, drinks full of spirit, if you can't afford to visit Ireland (now I have a burning desire to go!), check out McMahon's!
