Shula's 347 Grill

I don't really get it. They are not busy most customers are sitting in the bar and there are 4 bartenders. The lone male is the most attentive but not enough. 40 minutes for blue cheese chips, no refills on drinks and I was going to just move to a table in the dining room but the hostess is watching tv and chatting it up with the bartenders. Should have got a Happy Meal! This is my 1st poor review ever!
Good food, steak, burgers, classy. Pricey but nice staff. I had a ceaser salad, steak, and cheesecake. Large wine list as well.
Last night (Valentine's Day) marked our fourth visit to Shulas in Roanoke. We had reservations for 7:15. We were greeted in a timely fashion and seated with a beautiful long stemmed rose. There was a special menu with choices for two. My husband and I chose the chateaubriand with smashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. It was amazing!! The staff was very busy but still attentive and we were given the same care as the previous three vists when they wern't quite as busy. This is by far the BEST eating establishment in the Roanoke Valley. The price is higher than most.....BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! Thanks for an incredible dinner and a priceless memory (yet again!)
Good food and atmosphere. Great craft beers.
We arrived late - no one really wanted to take care of us. We would ask the waitress for something - 15 minutes later she may come back with it but more than likely she would forget it. Food was EXPENSIVE and so were the drinks. I had a side salad, an appetizer, and a cocktail - price tag was $40+. Not worth it at all. It was the only thing open at the Sheraton.....if we had known we would have stopped before we got to the hotel.
