Everything in the sampler appetizer is delicious, would come back just for the water, complimentary chips and salsa, and that alone. Ask to substitute beans with fries with the steak Mexicana, then this place gets 6 stars. Warm, cozy, casual atmosphere. Friendly and professional service/staff; didn't rush me, weren't overbearing, immediately refilled my water and it's nice to be addressed as "amigo".
Our hotel was right next door, so we thought we'd try it out. I red reviews first, and saw people were unhappy who went there. But we had a GREAT experience! The waiters were smiling, everyone greeted us as we walked in. Margarita was fabulous, didn't even taste the tequila in it, but it kicked in when the glass was half empty! LOL Food was great, our entire table was very pleased and we left with full happy bellies. The cheesecake desert is to die for! The waiter even joked with my 6 year old. Over all, great place. I felt like we were in another country :-)
Food was very good. Service even better. We were there during happy hour so beer was a great price too. Bathrooms could have been cleaner though.
My favorite Mexican Food Restaurant for the lunch buffet. We go there just for special occasions due to being so far away. Only wish they had one in Lynchburg! Great food and a good price! Oley!
