Stopped in for lunch. In trying to connect to their wifi I had to hand my device to the waitress (her insistence ) to have her enter the password, even though there's an open guest network. Not really sure ok with having to hand over my device to connect, especially when there are SO MANY good ways to do this. When I asked, it was made to seem like this is the obvious way to do this and I was out of line for asking. Kind of a shame as otherwise it was a good experience.

Friendly and casual atmosphere, with a variety of sandwiches, salads and drinks. Great place for hanging out with friends, watching your favorite team sport, or just enjoying a date with that special someone! I know you'll want to return, over and over again.
Lucky Dog has the feel of a neighborhood bar, but has much more than typical pub food. Unique appetizers, interesting sandwiches, tasty salads and even some nice dinner entrees are all on the menu. I Love the Kickin' Chicken sandwich and the sweet potato tots are a nice change from typical fries. Lucky Dog also offers a very extensive collection of beer (with many on tap) and a nice variety of wines (including white and red sangria). Love the large bar top area--where even folks who don't know each other end up chatting through the course of the meal. This place tends to be busy, but that hasn't affected the service any of the times my family has visited. Numerous TV's make it a great choice for catching the sport of the season, and the friendly staff is spot-on in refilling your drink and making sure you are have what you need. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Roanoke area as a nice change of pace from the many chain restaurants in Roanoke, but with prices that aren't as high as other locally owned venues.
and other entrees which are good for lunch and dinner. Lucky Dog also has a large variety of beer as well as wines. The atmosphere is unique and fun. Although it is a pub, it is very family friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. --Keith
