I have NEVER had a bad experience at The Sunset!! The atmosphere is good for dining and socializing!! The food is very good! Staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. Music is A+ and I will continue to support this Local business! And a plug for my favorite appetizer... The Oysters are to die for!
This is a casual countryside bar that is very popular with the locals. Unique choices of seating where you can sit outdoors, in a closed patio, at the bar, or at a table. Unique and good quality appetizers. Solid staff who will always make sure your drink is full. It's a nice mix of people in a nice roadside bar.
Would rate Sunset Grill as average. The place seems to do a bang up business, however, as parking lot is always packed. I don't get it. Either I'm too picky or Sunset Grill is over rated. Probably a combination of both.
The service is just average during my visits, either rude nor overly friend, just average. The food, however, has always been fresh, well prepared, tasty at a reasonable price. The omlette is exceptional, and their hamburgers could feed a lumberjack; they are that big and juicy!
ugh. what a frustrating dinner. our waitress was really unprofessional. we had to ask what the specials were, if there was any desert, etc... the coffee was two days old, the prime rib tough, we had to ask for bread. we had to ask for silverware!!!!!! what a disappointment.
