We ate there on the evening of Oct. 4th. I can sum up my experience in a single phrase...never again! There was no bread, no water, the entree came while we were eating our appetizer. The appetizers were fair. The main course was tasteless. I had scallops served on a bed or orzo rice. All they did was heap rice on the plate and placed five scallops systematically on top. They try to mask their lack of insight fullness regarding seasoning by dumping cheese on the dish...very sad. The server and the rest of the staff we met were polite. I wish someone could prepare some tasty food for them to serve. Coopers Landing has a high rating, I assume this is because those that rate them have had little experience with good restaurants. Unfortunately for Coopers, I cook and have eaten at restaurants all over the world. I know a poor cuisine when I eat one. By the way, we ate there about a year ago and had the same experience...never again.

This place never ceases to amaze me. I travel a lot but have never felt more at home or had such great meals and very attentive service as I have had here. Met the owners and they are more than willing to go out of their way to make sure your experience will be remembered. If you are in the area, look no further.

My wife and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary with a wonderful two night stay in our favorite room, the rustic Vineyard Suite. When we arrived, we were graciously greeted at the entrance by the Innskeeper and given a key for the room. After "unpacking" we requested and attentively received delicious chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Our itinerary for the rest of our stay was happily set up by the staff. We enjoyed horseback riding, hiking and a picnic (delicious chicken salad croissants, cheese, grapes and wine - picnic basket provided by the Inn for a reasonable charge), and our last venture was going to nearby wineries/vineyards. Cooper's Landing Inn has an amazing fine casual dining menu selection and all of which is reasonably priced. We really enjoy that the chef is always changing dinner specials based on the season. Breakfast every morning is such a treat. You are given a card in your room the night before, to make your breakfast selections. Don't shy away from making little notes to custom order certain options...The staff and chef are always so accomodating and willing to do their best to customize my wife's order (she is extremely selective). We have been coming to Cooper's Landing Inn for over four years and every time we are treated with fairness and sweet southern hospitality. We always end our stay with a delicious breakfast in the bright, beautiful sun room and a walk around town. We both highly recommend staying at Cooper's Landing Inn and at the very least, stumble in for a great meal!

Accommodating, Accommodating, Accommodating!! My husband and I found Cooper’s Landing through a Google search in 2010. We were searching for a bed and breakfast to host our wedding in June 2011. From the first email we sent and every email after, Nichol (inn keeper and owner) answered promptly. She made us feel at home from the moment we contacted her to our big day! Everyone told me that weddings are stressful, expensive affairs. After seeing many friends tie the knot, I would agree; however, our experience at Cooper’s Landing was different. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING!! I never felt so relaxed and carefree. Nichol took care of everything. We didn’t have to worry about the set-up or clean-up. Les (chef and owner) made sure all of our taste buds were satisfied from the crab cakes to the stuffed mushrooms! My husband and I were able to truly enjoy our wedding day along with all of our guests. Our parents, siblings, and grandparents filled all of the rooms in the inn for the Wedding. We were able to enjoy the rehearsal dinner and breakfast together in their dining room (Of course, you also have the option to receive breakfast in your room). On the day before the wedding, we were also able to enjoy the hot tub, pool, and patio behind the inn (As well as a few drinks!). They also have a full bar available for guests to order drinks. Since our wedding, we’ve returned and enjoyed their anniversary package. OH MY…what a treat!! In our double Jacuzzi room, we were greeted with a bottle of wine to toast our first anniversary and a VERY comfortable bed. Nichol’s staff made sure we had everything that we needed. If we wanted to enjoy our crab dip (a MUST have) in our room, they delivered it…no questions asked. They never made us feel like we were a burden. Our anniversary weekend was spectacular from the moment we arrived to our wine & cheese picnic basket to our romantic four course dinner! We cannot wait to return. We send everyone that we can to Cooper’s Landing. We recommend them for the perfect wedding, perfect dinner party (YES, they have a full service kitchen…I recommend the crab cake or lamb), romantic weekends, and more. They are the perfect getaway for anyone! I hope you visit them soon. Your time and money will not be wasted.

My husband and I visited Cooper's Landing for the first time when we were deciding where to have our wedding. We wanted a venue with southern, shabby chic charm that could offer an intimate feel to a wedding with 150 guests. We were also interested in a place that would provide wedding coordination services. Coopers Landing was perfect. The Inn itself has just the southern charm and beauty we were looking for. The grounds are beautifully taken care of. The ceremony site was just what we had in mind. It is shabby chic/romantic and intimate, yet had plenty of space for our 150 guests. You really have to see it in person and you will fall in love with it! The reception was wonderful as well. All of my guests kept commenting on how great the service and the food were. ***Even if you do not have your wedding here, you must go to the Inn for dinner sometime, the food is fabulous!!!! We are people who love to eat out and enjoy great food, and Cooper's Landing has it. I was told over and over again by guests that it was the best food at a wedding they have ever had. Cooper's landing will make your wedding cake as well. They made ours and it was picture perfect and oh so good. I can't wait for our one year anniversary so we can try it again! (They kindly boxed up the top tier for us to freeze for our one year anniversary) Nichol (inn owner) coordinated our entire wedding and she was on top of everything. From the moment we decided to have our wedding at Cooper's Landing, I was in close contact with Nichol going over details and ideas. The day of the wedding Nichol really went above and beyond. I was able to relax and not think about anything but enjoying the best day of my life. To give an example, the morning of the wedding was threatening rain. I very much wanted everything to be outside so this was worrisome. (We had opted not to reserve a tent) Nichol encouraged me to enjoy the day with my bridesmaids and she would take care of it. She was able to find a tent rental that morning! The tent was so wonderful; it was strung with lights and gave the reception even more of an intimate feel which we LOVED! Nichol really saved the day. I also loved that we did not have to worry about seating for guests during the ceremony, tables/chairs/silverware ect. Nichol takes care of everything. The rooms at Cooper's Landing are so comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. I enjoyed the HUGE Jacuzzi tub the night before the wedding and the morning before, just to make sure I was extra relaxed. :) Since the food is to die for, we opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the Inn the night before the wedding. It was perfect. As there are many different spots inside and outside the inn to enjoy a party, we were able to pick a different spot for the rehearsal dinner (pool side) so that it could be different from the reception site. Once again, the food was raved about and the service was exceptional. We were able to book the entire Inn, so that it was only our wedding guests for the weekend. The Inn had plenty of rooms for our immediate families. Other guests stayed down the street in a hotel, and then several guests stayed in the State Park which is right on the lake in Clarksville. I am still being told months later that it was the best wedding weekend ever experienced by my guests. Many of the guests will be returning to the Inn for weekend getaways. We are already planning our one year anniversary weekend there, I can't wait!
