If you are looking for a casual place to just hang out with your friends, this is your place. Its a smaller bar, full of great people. You can come dressed as you are, and people feel comfortable enough here to come dressed in their jammies. It is a great crowd of downhome, hardworking folks just looking to kick back and enjoy time with friends. If your one of those stuffy arrogant types, you will be more comfortable at a few other bars in Utah County- cuz the crowd and the bartenders don't take well to those uppity, stuffy types. The Saturday DJ is awesome and plays to the crowd of the nite. Friday nite bands are all the staple Utah County bands- but no heavy metal here. Frequent BBQ's and Pot Lucks really give you that hometown, friendly atmosphere. And the price is the lowest in the County. No need for specials here- its always in your budget.
If you're a Utah redneck with nothing to lose, this might be the right place for you. Its got a sad, depressed vibe to it accompanied by the ever present sound of Kid Rock, Sublime, or some crunk rap song playing out of the jukebox. For me, it was basically like spending the evening with the drunk, ignorant rednecks from high school. After every dude in there gets wasted enough, they might eventually stop giving you the "Im gonna slit your throat if you dont stop lookin over this way" look. The crowd seemed like a bunch of regulars, some old drunks playing pool and arguing to a terrible southern rock soundtrack. While I was there, I thought to myself that it was entirely possible that I could be killed in front of the entire bar, and nobody outside the building would ever know it had happened. So...enter at your own risk, or just go find a friendlier bar elsewhere?
