I have nothing good to say about this place. One of my friends started to work there a couple months ago and did not treat them with respect at all. Its like they are running a slave company. The owner Norma and her husband are the worst cafe owners and people I have ever met in my life. They are complete assholes. I will never eat there again because of this fact. They threaten to fire you whenever you don't do a task that they ask you to do even if you are not hired to do said task. My friend was hired as a server and they had to scrub floors, clean the whole bathroom. I myself don't like to think that the people handling my food are the people scrubbing the toilet. I am never going to trust that they wash their hands with the way that this establishment is being run. Anything that you don't do that they think you should do, even if you were not hired to scrub toilets they garnish your wages until they feel that they have taken enough money to make up for the work that didn't get done. The last time i checked servers were servers and janitors were janitors. If I had it my way, I would have this facility shut down. I guess if you like to support this kind of conduct, go ahead and eat there.

I love this place! their food is delicious, pretty standard dinner fare. my brother loves the tri tip but my favorite are the pork chops. I get them every time and I never regret it. also worth checking out is their French toast (breakfast is available all day during the week). it's huge and magically delicious. best of all, they know me there and I always get a hug hello. I will always recommend cafe 300!

This place is delicious and the service is always good. Sometimes they're really busy, but what does that say about the food? I think this place is amazing. The staff has always been nice and I have been here on 6 different occasions with several different people. Not yet have I had someone complain for showing them this great diner.

I love their onion rings. The food is good. The last time we went they seemed to full out forget about us several times though, which was annoying. I like the food enough I'd give them another chance, but one more time of awful service like the last time and I would have to be done.

Provo has a surprisingly good variety of restaurants to choose from for lunch. I saw this place was recently opened, got great reviews online, and had some good diner standards on the menu (who doesn't love pulled pork sandwiches?). The hostess was kind and brought us the menus quickly and with a smile, but that's where the good died with Cafe 300. The place is dirty - which you expect a little bit in a diner - but this place was dingy like a cat lady's apartment. The pulled pork was recommended, so two of the three of us ordered it. 1 full hour later we got our salads. I'm not kidding. Then the waitress brought out the sandwiches right after. If you like cold, dry (jerky style), and marginally flavorful pulled pork, you'll be satisfied. Additionally, if you like oil drenched, soggy, and (again) cold onion rings - these will be good. The french toast (which one of our group was smart enough to get) was pretty amazing, but not amazing enough to overcome the service and grime. I wish I knew the name of our server so the rest of the servers don't get a bad name, but she wasn't around long enough for us to know who she was. At the end, we waited for her to pick up our checks (which she didn't), and finally paid at the front. When the other server asked her if she'd like to help us check out she said "It doesn't matter to me." Classy. In the end, don't add this to your repertoire - there's too many other better options to choose from. You might get lucky and have a good breakfast, but I wouldn't bet on it.
