First time I was there I order the BLT sandwich and received a club sandwich instead. Was OK with that because the club sandwich was rocking good. Next time I visited I brought a friend, I order the club sandwich and he order steak..my sandwich sucked and his steak was way over cooked. Asked for a manager and the waitress said there wasn't one there..Get a freaking manager to handle issues and you'll have return guest...the only good out of this place is the bar, wait I take that back. You have to buy a membership ($5)then its only good for three days wtf.
The British burger was really good as was the cucumber-jalapeno margarita. My friends said the chicken fried steak was good but not great. Definitely the best food in Ozona, but that's also not saying much because there is no edible food available for many miles. If you're hungry, eat here, or fill up the tank, grab some Doritos, and keep driving.
Arrived for dinner around 5:45 only a few cars in parking lot. Sat in the back bar dinning area. We gave order to waitress. The waitress came to us at around 6:15 and retook our order. At 6:50 we still had not been served. Every table was taken, the parking lot was full and no one was being served. I went to the "salad bar" and heard a loud argument going coming from the kitchen nearby. I got a salad and there were no forks and napkins accessible. I ask the waitress for a fork. With a huf she pulled one out from under a counter. Then I had to ask her for a napkin..Again with a HUF she pulled out a napkin from under the counter. I went back to our table and we got up and left. We offered to pay for the salad. The man at another counter said, we were covered, and we left. This place has a very nice bar and friendly bar staff, but I will never eat there again.
Got the steak fingers and the GF got the british burger, both really good. The fingers are a great small traveling meal. Sodas were flat at out visit though.
Food is excellent, but the management and service is pretty bad.
