Located in Kingsville, home of the famed King Ranch and the heart of cattle country, Butch's is one of the true treasures of South Texas. It's not surprising that Butch's specializes in meat, and my favorite is non-other than the beef tenderloin, which is the highest quality in beef, cooked anywhere from cowboy well done to rare. You'll see everyone in Butch's, from the folks from the King Ranch to Texas A&M Kingsville, to oil men working on their next big project. The staff makes you feel like a cattle baron, and you can't find anything there that's not mouth-watering.

First time visit and I was impressed. Really good food and excellent service. I will be trying it again.

Delicious steaks, cooked perfectly. Bit pricey, but lunch prices are quite reasonable. Nicest place in Kingsville.
