Good place to buy produce not normally seen in "USA" markets. Buyer beware however, they seem to ignore the Best Before dates stamped on a lot of their cheese products.
An amazing place! Specialty foods from all over the globe. Wine, cigars and olives!! I was in heaven!! The MKT was even more special, I loved the food! We went on Steak night, it was cooked to perfection. great beer selection I had the Dulek. Our server was great! Diverse crowd, DJ was on point and great ambience. I wore my Kiss Me I'm African T-shirt and one of the servers came over and kissed my hand!! Great first night in Houston!
Variety here, love all the new breads to try from different cultures, my favorite is Iraqi bread so far. Quite a few Russian delicacies here too in addition to middle eastern, so fun! But a big deli and very international market. Actually the cheese deals are worth it too, huge variety and great prices compared to HEB, central market or even whole foods, they have aged Gouda that I like especially. Not to mention their awesome restaurant next door!
This is a bigger store then the one in downtown houston. I like this place. they are neat and clean.
The fresh pita bread is worth the trip. Good Mediterranean food and a great place to find some harder to find ingredients for tasty dishes.
